Mantrailing
Mantrailing
Mantrailing is an amazing sport to take part in with your dog. The best part is as long as you can walk your dog, you can mantrail!
Mantrailing is essentially a big game of hide and seek with your dog. A ‘missing person’ or ‘trail layer’ will hide and your dog’s job is to find them using their nose. All dog breeds can mantrail as all dogs have an incredible sense of smell.
Mantrailing gives a brilliant mental workout for dogs. In fact, it is the only thing that actually tires Jen’s Border Collie, Dexter, out! This makes it the ideal activity for people who have an energic/working breed dog.

Mantrailing is a truly inclusive sport where any dog can do it as long as they are able to go for a walk. Dogs are worked one at a time and on lead which means that even reactive dogs or dogs with poor recall can take part.
You also do not need to commit to regular weekly classes and you can do as many or as few trails as you want.

To start your mantrailing journey, you will need to attend an Introduction Workshop. This is a 3 hour session where we will teach you and your dog everything you both need to know to get started.

Once you have completed your workshop, you can join our Trails. These will take place in different locations so you and your dog can practise your skills in a variety of places. Please check the information on each Trail to ensure that the environment and skill level matches you and your dog.
